My name is Maria Butler and I am proud to be the Headteacher of Camblesforth CP School.  I have worked at the school since September 2013.  I have many years of school management experience having worked as Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher, Key Stage Co-ordinator and English subject leader for around 15 years.
I have a passion for the outdoors and enjoy a challenging mountain walk.  I am also interested in wildlife and the environment.  At school, I work with the Eco- Team who are striving to make Camblesforth environmentally friendly and to conserve resources.
I also enjoy creative activities including art, writing and music.  I particularly enjoy working on arts projects with children at school.

My name is Amy Hunter. I joined the team at Camblesforth in 2012 and I teach the youngest children in the school which is very rewarding. In addition to this, I lead Literacy, Geography and R.E across the school as well as being part of the Leadership Team and a Staff Governor. I am also a Lead teacher and moderator for NYCC which allows me to share practice with other practitioners in the local area. I very much enjoy being part of school life by leading clubs and hosting the annual ‘Cammy’s Got Talent’ show. In school, I love being creative and delivering literacy in an inspirational way. Outside school, I enjoy spending time with my family and going to the gym.

My name is Caroline Telford.  I have been teaching for 9 years and have had the opportunity to teach children across both key stages.  Currently, I teach the year 5 children.  I am also the SENCo which I enjoy as I am able to help children throughout the school by coordinating interventions, reviewing provision and much more.  Additionally, I coordinate ICT and form part of the senior leadership team.   I enjoy making learning exciting and always endeavour to make the classroom a place where the children want to be and want to learn.  Out of school, I spend any spare time with my husband and two young children who keep me very busy!
